Lowcountry Director Kathy Swanson negotiated a conference call with BCHSC and various USFS personnel. The result of this meeting is that the Columbia office is working to get a state-wide volunteer agreement in place so that BCHSC can be official volunteers to help with trail maintenance and improvement on any USFS land in SC. This is HUGE! Once the paperwork is done, we plan to have an in-person meeting at the Jericho trail head to discuss their specific needs.
